Welcome to the Hillside CTE Pathways site. This website was originally coded and created by students in Mr. Wozniak's Web Design class. Content on these pages is written and updated by Hillside students.

At Hillside STEAM Academy, students have an amazing gift of opportunity. This is the ability to learn advanced skills and practices in specialized programs that are called Pathways. These Pathways allow a student to truly pursue the fields and subjects that interest them most, and further provide important experience they will need when going to high school or college. Each of these programs are aligned with the California CTE (Career Technical Education) Pathways and related standards. A truly great thing about these Pathways is the diversity in their programs, and just how many opportunities we students are offered to learn about unique and interesting things. Another important fact about Pathways here at Hillside is that they actually lead into the advanced programs and courses that are offered at the various high schools. This way we are able to gain experience in the respective fields that interest us, and we can also discover if we truly like a certain subject or not. The ultimate goal of each Pathway is to prepare students to be career and college ready. Hillside Middle School is proud to offer courses in 14 different CTE pathways.
